You start with a 25-tile board (5×5). Before the round, you choose how many mines to bury in it — usually anywhere from 1 to 24. Those mines stay hidden, scattered at random across the board.

Each tile you tap is either a gem (safe) or a mine. Reveal a gem and the round continues. Reveal a mine and the round ends, with that bet lost.
Rising multiplier
Each safe reveal nudges your multiplier up. The deeper you go, the bigger the jump — and the bigger the loss if the next tile is a mine.
